Caraline Brown, Founder of Midnight Communications, chaired the judging panel and held no voting rights.
The winners will be announced at a star-studded gala dinner on Thursday 20 September in the Oxford Room of the Hilton Brighton Metropole. GMTV’s Marcella Whittingdale will compere the evening.
The Awards ceremony will be held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel on Thursday 20 September and will be the first of its kind in the south east to be carbon balanced. Working with local experts in carbon balancing, CLevel, the organisers have arranged trees to be planted in its rainforest restoration projects in East Africa. New firewood efficient cooking stoves in the same region are also being commissioned and designed to compensate for CO2, as well as providing other ecological and social benefits on the ground.
